Welcome to the website of Arthur Bell, a Scotsman whose life was shattered by medical incompetence, which left him a partial paraplegic amputee.

This website is designed to raise awareness of issues affecting the disabled. Arthur writes a regular blog, as well as presenting to officials, organisations and parliamentarians who can make a real difference. If you feel that you live in a country which denies your right to a life of “full enjoyment without discrimination”* then this is the site for you. It’s also a site for those caring, and enquiring about, the multiple issues affecting disabled people.

Here you can read ideas, and add your own thoughts, to these critical issues of disability. It can help you pass on your experiences to the key opinion formers and decsion makers.

You can help build a better UK society for all 8.6 million disabled, not forgetting their families and carers. Arthur is particularly keen to allow the otherwise “voiceless” let their experiences find their way to a wider world.
